A Silk Ribbon Garden – Detail 256 May 2nd, 2007

This seam started with the flowers in details 246 and 247 and grew in the haphazard way that my real garden dose…I added a small butterfly bead for interest…Tip: seams like this are a great way to use short lengths of thread and silk ribbon.

Annie, these are the most beautiful flowers, very graceful. And to think that in some measure they grew out of that day of not feeling up to par and having a back ache.

  2. Margaret Says:

I love it! And the gardener in me loves that they all look like real flowers. The butterfly is a great touch.
