I rang a camera shop this morning, asked if they do digital camera repairs and explained what had broken and the girl suggested that a $20 card reader would be a cheaper option…. took the card into the shop and guess what, it doesn’t fit the new card readers, it is to OLD…I dare say that I will be able to get one but it will require some looking around.
In the meantime I will show some of the photos that I have taken in the last couple of months…most of my photos are close up details, tonight I have chosen one that needed the Zoom, it is a Galah, perched high in the gum tree in the front garden.

What a beautiful bird, is it part of the parrot family? I’m not sure how I found your blog but I just love your needle work. I made a crazy quilt in the 80’s (it is on my blog) Your work is very inspiring, makes me want to start a new project. I’ll be back.

Gorgeous bird — you’re lucky to live where you can see them in your yard instead of the zoo! Its colors are just beautiful, like something out of a Japanese kimono. I too love your needlework. Found you through the TAST challenge.
