This seam is Herringbone stitch worked in a silk buttonhole twist thread…a simple seam treatment that is made interesting and individualized by the use of different sized beads.
Hi Annie 🙂
I love what you are doing. I have followed since the first day. My favorite stitch is the Lazy Daisy so, the traveling flowers you do are great. Also your manipulation with ribbon is so sweet looking and so doable. Thank you.
But each time I go throught the pics, this Herringbone Stitch in Silk ButtonholeTwist makes me go ‘Ooh ‘ and ‘Ahh’ and ‘that is so pretty.’
It is more simple, but so far, my favorite.
Thank you for your work and energy to put this online.
