I have been using a lot of beads on the birthday block and the first seam was starting to look a little under dressed so I have given it a few trimmings.
The braid I used for this seam was very crinkled but as I like wriggly lines I stitched it on with the crinkles and added sequin flowers with green bead leaves.

Annie, seeing your beautiful work almost persuades me to take up crazy quilting. I learn so much from seeing your work. I do counted thread work on one single colored and textured ground. I’m fascinated by how you’ve made the fan so that it takes the colors in the fabrics, highlights and pulls them together. It really makes me think about how I put limitations on my counted thread work and what I haven’t tried to do with it yet.
