 Mostly when chooseing stitches for crazy quilts we want one that is going to stand out and look stunning but occassionally I want one that is going to cover the seam but blend in and not be seen…You may have noticed that when peicing this block I ended up with a long seam right down the middle of the block, the lace I added yesturday started to break that long seam and this seam, overlapping Detached Chain stitchs worked with a pale thread on the pale fabrics will break it further because it won’t be seen by the eye which will be tricked into seeing a pale patch across the block instead of the long seam.
