I took a stitch – detail 102 January 2nd, 2007

In the last year or so Sharon B’s challenges, being Bags of Fun, All that Jazz and 100 details have all inspired me to do good things…I haven’t stitched much lately and have decided to join her Take a Stitch Tuesday to get me back into regular stitching…Todays stitch is Herringbone which I have worked over some Ric Rack braid and then further embellished with Colonial knots and Pistol Stitch.

Take a Stitch Tuesday #1

I used today’s stitch to start the embroidery on a block that I made from a Heavenly Embellishments bag.

Very pretty block you made that into. I’ve seen several treatments over rickrack – guess I’ll have to try that! Yours looks very feminine. I love Colonial knots.
